 Dianna Sanchez, Executive Director

Dianna Sanchez is a native of Flagstaff and received her Master’s in Teaching English as a Second Language and her Bachelor’s in Secondary English Education, both from NAU.   She has spent her career doing what she loves most – helping and educating those around her so that they can achieve their goals and realize their dreams.  Dianna is a passionate believer in ensuring that education is available to all members of our community and is thrilled for the opportunity to lead The Literacy Center.

Rachel Gregory, Program Director

Rachel Gregory came to Flagstaff, from San Diego, to attend NAU where she earned her Bachelor of Arts with an emphasis in Spanish. Her professional career includes volunteer management, exceeding sales and fundraising goals, in both for-profit and non-profit environments. In 2011, she received the Young Athena Award presented by the Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce. She earned her Masters of Education, TESOL from the University of South Florida in Tampa, with highest honors from the College of Education’s SCATTER program. While in graduate school, Rachel volunteered in an underserved elementary ELA classroom, and served as a tutor for the county literacy program. Rachel is passionate about contributing to the well-being of our Flagstaff community, and The Literacy Center’s mission of improving literacy and English language acquisition for children and adults.

                         Monserrat Bello, Program Assistant

Monserrat Bello is from Mexico City and has had extensive administrative experience throughout her career.  Monserrat came to the United States in 2015 and began coming to The Literacy Center to receive tutoring to prepare for the TOEFL exam, the college entrance exam required for admission for international students to any American university.  Through her time as a learner at TLC, her dedication to her own educational growth and her sunny disposition did not go unnoticed.  Now, Monserrat joins our TLC team not just as a learner, but as our Program Assistant.  Monserrat is excited to be a part of TLC to have the opportunity to give back to the organization and to ensure that TLC continues its mission of serving our community.

Rudyann Aguiniga, Executive Assistant

Rudyann is from Los Angeles, California. She moved to Yuma, Arizona when she was only a couple of years old and graduated from San Luis High School. She attends NAU where she is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management and a minor in Business Management. She is involved around campus in various organizations and is grateful for the wonderful opportunity to work at the Literacy Center as an office assistant through the federal work study program.
