AmeriCorps VISTA (Arizona Alliance of Non-Profits) is a new source for a full time individual who will help us launch a collaboration with two other community organizations: Goodwill Industries of Northern Arizona, the Sunnyside Neighborhood Association and the Southside Neighborhood Association. Together we will examine the various needs for literacy instruction in and around the community. Our common goal is to improve volunteer-supported adult literacy throughout the community. Stimulus funding made it possible for the Arizona Alliance of Non-Profits to offer the capacity building positions in 2010. |
